Learn How to Improve Your Pool Game
The question’s that is on every players mind is, how can I improve my game, why am I not winning more games, and what is the secret the better players know, that I don’t?
Well here it is.
It all goes back to the beginning, the basics. The foundation that your game stands on is your stroke. Making your shot, getting position, the draw, follow, left and right spin, and the stop shot all depend on your stroke.
Most players make the mistake of rushing the back swing, especially when it is a shot they are not comfortable with. They take several practice strokes and when they are ready to shoot the change the speed of the stroke and it is usually faster then the practice strokes. Whatever speed your practice strokes are, use the same speed and stroke to make the shot. The answer is the stroke and acceleration on the follow through.
If you shoot the cue stick three to four inches past the cue ball with every shot and with the same speed, you will be amazed at the results and the improvements in your game. Practice the speed of your stroke and follow through every day until it becomes a very good habit.
